Baby Shower

My school friends put me on a really nice baby shower. It was right after school and really nice. The cake was blue and pink. Their were blue and pink balloons and we received lots of really nice gifts. Our basement in now turning into a baby storage room. Thanks to all my teaching friends and all the nice gifts we received.

Date Night

If you have never eaten at Cici's Pizza, you have to go! This is an all-you-can-eat buffet with salad, pastas, pizza's and the best cinnamon rolls ever!! But the best way to do it, is order your own personal deep crust pizza. Both Leif and Orson were being very creative with their pizza ordering. Together we ate chicken Alfredo pizza, BBQ Chicken pizza, Hawaiian Pizza and lots of cinnamon rolls. Thanks Bangerts for going with us!!!! Alisha and Orson

Adam-Ondi-Ahmin

While driving home from Omaha, we made a stop at Adam-ondi-Ahmin to visit our sweet sons resting spot. Leif and I walked directly to the correct site and found his rock and marker untouched. I am so thankful that Kaden has such a special site. I am thankful for the spirit that presides there. I am thankful for the memories we have of Kaden. I am thankful for his spirit we still feel. And lastly, I am thankful for the 2 babies coming to our family in June. How merciful the Lord truly is.

Our Mini Vacation

Leif and I had a chance to go on a mini get away. It was so nice to get away from school and work, spend 2 nights in a hotel, and not have any worries. Friday afternoon we drove to Omaha and had a chance to go through the temple. I love the temple. I love the feeling there. I love how close Leif and I feel to the spirit. I love the beauty. I love everything. I really love temples.
Saturday we spent the WHOLE day at the worlds largest indoor zoo. We had a blast taking our time as we went through the desert, jungle, rain forest, swamp, butterfly land, and visited the monkeys. The gorillas were truly my favorite. Leif and I sat for probably one hour as we tried to interact with these crazy gorillas. They truly are amazing animals.
Both evenings we had a fun time relaxing in our hotel room while eating junk food, playing games, and watching movies. It was a great get-a-way. I love spending time with you Leif.
