Disney World Road Trip

Monday March 26th was the start of a "Disney Road Trip". Jefra and I packed up the car with 3 car seats, 2 strollers, food for 2 days, clothes for 2 days, and toys. You could say, " It was a full car". The kids had so so much fun in the back seat teasing one other. And Jefra and I had a great conversation for the 2 hour drive. Then we got to Disney World. It was my first time ever to Disney World I truly felt like a little kid again. It was so exciting. We decided to go to Epcot (because neither of us had been and I am going to go with to Magic Kingdom and Animal World with my sister in May). Epcot didn't have very many rides, but it had a lot of Disney Characters. And the characters is what our kids LOVED. The very first thing we did was go and hug Daisy. I thought my kids would be scared, but they LOVED it.
All 3 of the kids had so much fun hugging, high fiving and talking with the Disney Characters. And the lines were so short (15 minutes max). We went on 3 rides while in Disney. First was a Finding Nemo ride where we sat in shells. Second was a boat ride were we learned about agriculture. And last was a Denmark ride that scared all of the kids. There was sea monsters that jumped out and made Micah cry.
After lunch the boys feel asleep in the strollers while the girls (including Savannah) walked around to the different countries. In each country there were shops, restaurants, entertainment, and great architecture. It was fun to see all the different countries while the boys slept. We then visited more characters and headed to the hotel.

Look how scared Savannah is!!!

Jefra's husband travels for work a lot. He therefore builds up lots of travel points and was able to get us a hotel room using his points. It was a nice hotel. And the KIDS LOVED IT!!! We think they had more fun playing in the hotel then they did at Disney. I think the pictures can say it all.
We ate Dinner in our room, gave baths and then put the kids down around 8 p.m. Savannah feel right asleep in the bad I made for her. Cannon feel asleep after a while, but Micah stayed up and talked with Jefra and I till 10. I then got to share my bed with Micah. I don't see how some moms sleep with their kids every night!!!

3 little Monkies Jumping on the bed!!!!

This is Savannah's bedroom!!

In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast, went for a run, watched cartoons, and got ready for the day. Tuesday we went to the Orlando Science Museum for Kids. There was so much to do!!! We were there all day!!! The kids had a lot of fun in the transportation room, the nature room, the messy room, and the Dinosaur Room. By 3:00 we were ALL tired and ready to drive home. It was a great "Disney Road Trip."

St. Patrick's Day

For us St. Patrick's Day started off on Friday evening. Some of my friends and I singed up for the Shamrock Run of Largo. It started at 7:00 p.m with live music and lots of green. I had been training for the last couple of weeks and really wanted to do good. My goal was to beet 22 minutes. And I did!!! I came in 1st place for my age group of 25 - 29. My time was 21:51 equaling a 7:03 mile pace. I got a really cool beer mug for my prize along with a Green Award. Leif and the babies came to cheer me on. It was so nice to have them there for moral support. After the run, they served us dinner. It was a really fun night.

This is me after the race with my cheer-leaders.

This is me running down the finish line. I beet the girl in red shorts by 1 sec. The other people are on their first lap. St. Patrick's Day started with me giving Leif a pinch in bed. He didn't sleep with any green on, but he couldn't pinch me back because I had green fingernails!!! We then ate a "Green" breakfast 0r potatoes, eggs and ham. The green milk was my favorite. After breakfast we enjoyed a relaxing morning and then headed over to a friends birthday party. Ayden was turning 2 and his parents threw him an awesome party. They had a great BBQ alone with a blow-up-slide and pool. The twins looked so cute in their "green" swim-suits. They loved playing in the blow up slide and with all of their friends. It was cute to watch them splash each other. Happy St. Pattie's Day and Happy Birthday Ayden.
This is my favorite video. I love how dainty Savannah is and how boy-like Micah is.

Thursday's Babysitting

I am now a working mother. That's right.... I'm employed. Every Thursday I watch a 4 month old from 7-4 p.m. I was worried at first that the twins wouldn't want their mother holding/feeding another baby. But they LOVE having a baby in the home. Savannah loves pushing "Baby" in the swing. Micah always carries "Baby's" bottle and helps her feed her. They both are constantly giving her toys and calling her "Baby". So her official name in our house has become "Baby". I now look forward to Thursdays where we don't go anywhere and just play with a "Baby". Plus the money is always a bonus!!!

Parks

I love Florida. Have I said that before? I love that it is February and I am going for run and bike rides every morning. I love that on Leif's days off we can be outside as a family. I love the parks here in Florida. They have so many different types of parks.

On Wednesday Leif had a day off so we went to a park. We had a picnic as a family and then fed the birds (I can't say ducks anymore). The twins had so much fun throwing Cherios to the birds. It was a really nice day.
