Grandma & Grandpa's Visit 2012

From April 14- 25 we had the privledge of having Grandma & Grandpa Kanooth in our home.

We hadn't seen our parents in almost a year, so their visit was a special treat. Our little home got small real fast, but we loved the company. I was worried that little Savannah would have a hard time warming up to her Grandparents (Micah likes everyone). But on day one she was already giving her Papa kisses. Little Micah warmed right up to his Grandparents and loved the cuddles. Both Micah & Savannah loved being spoiled!!! They got picked up whenever they cried. They got new toys & clothes. They got a bath every night. They got special treats from Grandpa. They got kisses and hugs all day long. They got to go to fun places. And they got tired-out!


We stayed extremely busy for the whole 10 day. Each day we did one BIG adventure, and some days more! Leif was able to get a whole week off from work, it was an extra treat to have him with us. He also had his 33rd birthday while Mom & Dad were in town. We therefore got to have a real family birthday-party.

Together we stayed active and has so much fun. Every day was an adventure, and ended with playing games or chatting in the front room.  It is always nice to have parents around. 

Some highlights were: taking walks through the park(s), bird watching, going to the Tampa Aquarium, eating out, visiting the beaches, riding roller-coasters at Bush Gardens, seeing all the animals at Bush Gardens, attending the John & Mable Ringling Museum, trying to go sky-diving, seeing four wild alligators at Eagle Lake Park, learning about sponges at Tarpon Springs, having a birthday party, making home-cooked meals, swimming in our pool, playing soccer with the twins, visiting Leif at work, walks and runs, playing games till 11:00 p.m, and just being together as a family.
