Father's Day

July 21st was Father's Day and what a good day we had. Leif was spoiled by getting a gift that he needed. Leif has been riding his bike around and was in Need of a helmet. So I got him a really snazzy black helmet. He also got a little pink shirt that read, "Daddy's Little Princess". We are not pregnant but it was just the cutest shirt I had to buy it for him. His last gift was dark chocolate kisses, just because he loves them.

For his Father's Day dinner I attempted to make something that I have never made before, ribs. And I didn't know how easy they were to make. All I did was put them into a crock pot with some pineapple and sauces and WA-la. We had some delicious sweet and sour ribs for dinner. I also make a home make blackberry pie for my first time ever. We had some friends over for dessert and my pie was great. It was a great day.

I also wanted to say thanks to all the fathers out there. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful father. I love talking to him each Sunday and getting my father advice. Leif too, has a wonderful father who is there to support us in everything. We love you Dad's.
