Aunt Lairen Comes to Visit

Leif's sister, Lairen, came to visit us for 4 days. It was so nice to have Aunt Lairen here. She spoiled the twins, was fun to chat with, helped around the house, and was up for doing anything. We had a great 4 days. Thanks for coming Aunt Lairen!!
Monday Lairen flew into Tampa around 8:00 a.m. We therefore went to breakfast and headed over to MOSI. MOSI is a huge science center with lots to do for kids and adults. Micah's favorite part was going into the hurricane stimulator. The twins also loved jumping in the bounce -house and climbing through tunnels.

After naps we headed over to Eagle Lake Park, where we feed the turtles. The twins love feeding turtles and ducks. They are so cute when they throw the food. It normally lands at their feet!

Lairen then took the twins to the store and let them both pick out one toy. Micah picked out 10 hot wheels and Savannah wanted a train. Lairen & I both tried to persuade her towards the dolls and tea-sets, but she wanted a train. The day ended with home-made pizza and FHE.Tuesday was a day filled with fun and sun! We went to the Clearwater Aquarium and saw Winter the Dolphin (but we didn't take any pictures). After the Aquarium, we visited the Clearwater Beach. Savannah was having so much fun collecting shells and putting them in her buckets. Micah just wanted to throw sand. Lainen & I both tried to swim, but it was too cold.
That evening we went to Enrichment at the church. The theme was health. Leif was one of the speakers. He talked on how to prevent strokes, heart attack, diabetes, and how to stay healthy. It was fun to watch him talk to a group of woman, and answers all their questions.
Wednesday was more restful day. We started the day by working-out, walking around the park and then going to story-time at the library. After lunch and naps we headed over to Great Explorations Children's Museum. Lairen and I had a lot of fun dancing to "Dance Dance Revolution." The twins had fun playing each other miniature golf (sorry no pictures). On the way home we visited Sawgrass Park where we saw a baby alligator. Leif had Thursday off. We were happy to have him spend the day with us. In the morning we went for a walk and then headed over to Glazer Children's Museum. The museum was fun. But there were a lot of school-kids there so we ate and then went next door to the Tampa Art Museum. We then came home for naps.
We then went out for dinner at an all-you-can-eat buffett. And our evening ending at the beach. We stayed to watch the sun set. It was beautiful. And it was fun. Thanks for coming Lairen. We had so much fun with you. The twins really enjoyed you too.
