Leif's 3 days off

Leif had 3 days off in a row (after working 10 days straight). So we took advantage of having Daddy home and had a day at the beach. We drove an hour south of here to Siesta Key's, known for its world famous sand. The sand at Siesta Key's is the only cool sand in the world. It is 99% quartz. The quartz grains are very fin, without any coral or shell fragments, which results in sand with a soft, flour-like texture. It is comparable to walking on powered sugar. We loved it and the twins loves it. It was a wonderful day at the beach. taking a break to have lunch
