May 26th, 2011 our twin babies both turned 1 year old. I can't believe how fast this year has gone. It's crazy to think that just one year ago our babies entered this world weighing less then 4 pounds each. Now they are gaining weight everyday, crawling everywhere, eating everything, smiling at everyone, and have become the joy of our lives.
On Monday we celebrated their birthday party, due to all the famliy being in town. We were going to have the party at the church but it rained so we all got together and had the party at the church. We had a potato bar, with salads and dessert. It was yummy food and great company. After dinner we put both babies on a blanket and gave them both a cupcake. Savannah wanted nothing to do with the cupcake and cried the whole time. She wanted her Grandma to hold her and drink her bottle. Micah didn't know what to think about the cupcake. Daddy placed a big chunk of frosting in his mouth and he then took a couple of bites. But for the most part, they weren't interesting in the sweet and wanted to get on with exploring the gym. After cake we then did presents from Aunts and Uncles. It was a really good evening. and the twins had a lot of fun. Happy Birthday to my two wonderful twins. I am so thankful for the two of you.
