Leif's Graduation Week

Both my parents & Leif's parents came up to Kansas City for Leif's Graduation. We had a lot of fun with both sets of parents in town. We are so thankful for our wonderful parents who have supported us through medical school. Both sets of parents have done so much for us. They have become wonderful grandparents, friends, and parents. We love you all.

We had 3 days with my just parents before the big graduation day, so we filled each day with lots of activities. On Tuesday we celebrated mine and the twins' birthday (you can read the birthday post). On Wednesday we went to church sites (already posted as well).
On Thursday we took our babies to a petting farm. Micah LOVED feeding the baby goats. He got a big smile on his face after touching each animal. He has turned into such a boy. He loves animals, trucks, balls, and trains. Savannah liked looking at the animal. But she would get scared after getting too close to each one. She is turning into such a girl and now loves doll and blankets. We had a fun day at the farm and ended our day eating dinner with my sisters in-laws.

On Friday we took the babies swimming at the YMCA. The twins have always loved the water but today Micah had SO much fun. As soon as his tummy touched the water he flapped his arms and kicked his legs. Water splashed all over his little face, but he just kept on flapping.... and did so the whole time. Grandpa took him down the slid and Micah LOVED it. He is really turning into a little water bug. On the other hand, little Savannah had fun having Mommy hold her in the water. She also went down the slid but wasn't to excited.
Friday evening Leif's parents came into town. We were going to have a nice BBQ outside but due to the weather we ending up eating a nice lasagna dinner together. It was fun eating with the 6 of us and enjoying Leif's accomplishments. After dinner we played a jeopardy game, where each categories topic was "Leif". In the end it was a tie. We had cake and then watched a movie.

Saturday was the big day and my husband in now officially Dr. Leif P. Kanooth.
